On the 16th of September, the Fak’ugesi African Digital Innovation Festival will culminate in the Fak’ugesi Beats Bloc Party. The Fak’ugesi Beats Bloc Party is curated by Weheartbeat and will include both local and international dynamos such as trap-jazz innovator Masego, Soulection founder Joe Kay, Stonesthrow beatmaker MNDSGN, European producers Melodiesinfonie and Evil Needle, Britain’s Hannah Faith and local musicians such as Nonku Phiri, Christian Tiger School and Petite Noir.

What you can also expect to experience at the Fak’ugesi Beats Bloc Party are the outcomes of the festival programme. You will get to see the work of artists involved in ColabNowNow, a platform for collaboration to showcase innovative interdisciplinary digital work, and projection mapping by lighting artists from Port Louis, Mauritius brought to you by Canada 150. You will also get a taste of the interventions by Wits Architecture students on the outcome of the Block by Block community urban design workshops.

Do not miss out on this explosive conclusion to the 2017 Fak’ugesi Festival. It will be an event to remember!
