Between schoolwork, work-work, exams, parties, lunches with friends, maybe even a date here and there, you’re constantly on the go. It’s important to take a breather every now and again. Whether you pamper yourself or downtime consists of a good cup of coffee and an even better book, how you chose to relax can make all the difference! Take a few minutes away from your phone, laptop, and most importantly, other people. Relax, rejuvenate and recharge!

Our downtime:

1. Read a book.

“A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies. The man who never reads lives only one.” – George R.R. Martin.

Whether you’re a sucker for a good old love story or prefer the murder mysteries of one Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson, a great read is the perfect thing to take your mind off of the daily grind.

2. Take a walk

Even if just around the block, a bout of fresh air is always a good idea. Not to mention, if you’ve been stuck behind a desk the whole day, a bit of a walk will do you good. Stretch your legs and make sure you’re wearing sunblock. A sunburn isn’t a good look.

3. Take your vitamins

This might sound like an odd one, but when your body is treated well from the inside, you’ll feel better too; both physically and emotionally.
