The exclusive and luxurious Hoeveld House in Sandton hosted the dazzling whos-who of Jozi on Thursday night in celebration of Veuve Clicquot Rosé’s 200th anniversary.

The ‘La Vie en Rosé’ experience marked a very special milestone in the brand’s history – 2018 is the 200th anniversary of the world’s first blended Rosé, created by none other than the legendary Madame Clicquot.

The evening was set under a constellation of stars that included the likes of Boity, Nomzamo, Jessica Nkosi, Linda Mtoba and K Naomi, all of whom truly came to the party in breath-taking rosé inspired outfits as they were acknowledged for their rosé spirit and for spreading their ‘joie de vivre’ with friends, family and fans alike.

Guests sipped on perfectly chilled glasses of Veuve Clicquot Rosé as melodic French tunes played in the background, building up to a joyful ‘So Clicquot’ group toast to 200 years of Veuve Clicquot Rosé innovation.

An impressive three-tiered Veuve Clicquot birthday cake was presented and carried through the crowd and everyone cheered as Nomzamo blew out a 200-year candle sitting on top of the cake.

Guests posed by the innovative giant birthday cake tins, danced to French tunes under the magical illuminated tree in the Hoeveld House garden and toasted to living ‘La Vie en Rosé’; a fitting end to a perfect Johannesburg Autumn evening.
