The best South African MCCs and French Champagnes with food prepared by an award-winning chef

Brooklyn Bubbles – the hugely successful and highly anticipated MCC and Champagne Festival at Brooklyn Mall – takes place over a two-day period this year, on Friday, March 3, and Saturday, March 4.

The annual festival, a highlight on Pretoria’s social calendar, will feature some of South Africa’s finest Methodé Cap Classiques and a selection of France’s best Champagnes.

Local MCC producers at this year’s event include Avondale, Charles Fox, Domaine des Dieux, Villiera, Montpellier de Tulbagh, Genevieve MCC, Paul René, L’Ormarins, Pierre Jourdan, DeGrendel, Simonsig, Krone and Saronsberg. France’s Champagne houses will be represented by Nicolas Feuillatte, Taittinger and Luc Belaire.

 

Food at the event – which will also feature live music from Dylan Live and Jared Coetzee – will be provided by award-winning chef Vanessa Marx who will provide a range of delicacies including oysters, sushi, charcuterie, pulled pork buns, a choice of local and imported cheeses and churros and mini-donuts for dessert.

Tickets to the VIP event on Friday are R600 per person and include a welcome glass of bubbly, 20 bubbly tasting coupons and three food coupons, one of which is for dessert. This makes for a substantial meal promise the organisers.

Tickets for the event on Saturday, March 4, cost R300 per person and include a complimentary tasting glass and 15 tasting coupons. Food will also be available for purchase at stalls at the venue. Additional vouchers can be purchased on both days of the festival.

Brooklyn Bubbles allows visitors to sample some of South Africa’s best Cap Classiques as well as some of France’s finest Champagnes. To accompany this we will be providing great food in an elegant, yet relaxed, atmosphere.

Cost: VIP evening on Friday is R600; R300 on Saturday. For bookings of 10 people or more, the organisers are offering a 15% discount.
