Join the Hunt for Chicken Dinner in The Battle Royale!, South Africa’s leading online store, is joining forces with Orena to provide PUBG fans across the country a chance to liven up their Monday nights with some unmissable action from 12th March to 9th April

Each week players will take part in a 100 person free for all to see who takes home the chicken dinner as well as valuable league points that will stand them in line to win great prizes sponsored by and Steelseries.

Not only will the winners of each round take home KFC vouchers to materialise their chicken dinner wins, but the overall league winners will take home a Steelseries M750 Mechanical gaming keyboard (R3299) for first place, a Steelseries Arctis 5 headset (R2099) for second place and our third place winner will grab a Steelseries Rival 310 gaming mouse (R1299)

For a bit of fun, several influencers from both the gaming and non-gaming worlds have been invited to join us for something a little different between the “serious action”. They will take part in some fun alternative game modes voted for by the public. Each week the PUBG SA community will be able to vote for what weird custom game mode they would like to see our influencers and the community take part in. The most popular mode is then chosen and announced each Monday that The Battle Royale takes place.

Custom game modes such as – “50 vs 50” – Split the 100 players into two teams and see which team is the last one standing

“Melee Weapons Only” – Frying pans, machetes or a pointy stick – as long as you can swing it, it’s allowed.

“Zombies” – Pick 6 survivors and allow them to carry weapons – while the remaining 94 are ravenous zombies running towards our survivors – who will win?

Of course, all the action will be viewable live on our Twitch stream at, where you can also enjoy the action being cast by Matthew “Haz3” Stott who will be joined by our very own Luca “RoBoHoBo” Tucconi, as well as some guest appearances from other casters and personalities.

While anyone can take part online from the comfort of their own home, we have also offered the Orena Esports Studio at Emperor’s Palace in Johannesburg for those who want to bring their PC’s and be part of the action and atmosphere – there is space for 40 on a first come first served basis.

Entry is 100% free.
