This December take some time to celebrate the power of the human spirit with AfriDocs with the screening of The Cradock Four, a documentary by David Forbes that delves into one of Apartheid’s murkiest and most controversial episodes. The four men were assassinated by an Apartheid police hit squad in 1985, becoming one of SA’s most notorious political murders. The murders were a turning point, triggering a state of emergency and leading to the release of Mandela within five years.

While the film is a painful reminder of the past, it is also a call to celebrate the human spirit that is able to transcend even the worst circumstances.

The documentary will be screened on DStv ED channel 190 and GoTV at 8pm on Tuesday 16th December.
